Architectural Concrete Block Finishes

We offer four finish choices of our quality CMU’s; our standard ground face block known for its uniformity and natural beauty and our split face architectural concrete block that offers texture and dimension. Our newest finish available is our polished block which is just like its name says a gorgeous polished, shiny finish. Lastly, we produce an “antique” finish which is a shot blast finish that exposes the natural beauty of the aggregates within the block. 

All of our architectural block are made to met the highest standards including ASTM-C90 standard for loadbearing concrete masonry units. 

Additional Finish Options

In addition to our basic CMU options, Nitterhouse is proud to manufacture a recycled architectural concrete block called Eco Smart which is produced with 30% recycled material. This recycled option is available in our standard Ground face and Split face finishes in a variety of color options.

 

Architectural Paving Slabs 

Nitterhouse manufactures large and small architectural paving slabs in a variety of colors. Whether your project calls for a pedestal set large scale slab or a small plank style paver for an outdoor plaza we can make the paver that fits your needs in the color you want. Or get really creative with our Camina paving stone which is a large format paver with grooved lines allowing the designing to select the placement of the grooves and finishes. 

Our Wind Uplift system discreetly and safely secures pavers to a rooftop and meets strict testing requirements. Any of our pavers can be incorporated with our Wind Uplift system.
